At the Flying Goose Brew Pub & Grille we value our community and do our best to give back! We try to do this in many ways, by recycling and respecting our environment, buying locally and supporting local vendors, as well as participating in local events and activities. We try to create a presence in the community outside of the restaurant and by supporting local organizations.

Recycle and Re-Use
For years we have enforced basic recycling while finding unique ways to recycle different wastes for re-use or in an environmentally friendly fashion. For example our used fryer oil is re-used by a local contractor who converts it to a fuel that powers his truck. Spent grain goes to a local farmer who uses it to feed his livestock. Besides employing basic recycling of cardboard, glass, etc., we also provide our customers with biodegradable take out containers, napkins, and recycled paper products. It is important to us at the Flying Goose to continue finding ways to reduce waste, eliminate harmful products, and find quality environmentally friendly products to use throughout the establishment.

We Buy Local
We love our community and want to see it thrive while providing our customers with the freshest produce possible. By buying locally and supporting local vendors we try to create a presence in the community outside of the restaurant and by supporting local organizations.
