About The Brewerybeerglasstoast

The Flying Goose Brew Pub & Grille as many of you may know started as the Four Corners Grille Restaurant in 1993. By 1996 the name had a new addition, The Four Corners Grille and Flying Goose Brew Pub. The downstairs part of this restaurant used to be a dairy bar before current owner Tom Mills came up with a unique identity for his new restaurant, a brewery. Since 1996 we have been providing our customers with finely handcrafted brews of all different styles and flavors.

Starting with 3 of our own brews on draft at a time, we have grown quite a bit since then now offering 17 handcrafted brews on tap at all times accompanied by our very own Root Beer. Using seasonal ingredients and local products, we have developed a wide array of brews to please anyone’s taste buds. We have made it a yearly ritual to harvest our own hops that grow through the summer month’s right outside of our dining room, a great addition to our already captivating view of Mt. Kearsarge. We may not have made it into the local grocery store just yet, but give us some time…for now, you can purchase our beer in 64 oz growlers to take home and enjoy.

Our current brew master Rik Marley came to us in September of 2009, he has more passion in his pinky for making beer than most of us do for our daily jobs. “I wake up and get to make beer. I love my job! How many people can truly say that?” Marley has said. Marley shows great dedication to the art of brewing and his creativity has led us down untouched paths like brewing our first lager, a potato beer, and even one of our new favorite traditions: Firkin’ Friday! (A firkin is a container that serves a cask conditioned ale, brewed with English style it gives a different taste than those served by the draft.)

Rik continues to expand our draft selection experimenting with different styles, aging techniques, and a wide array of flavors. He continues to have as much passion today as when he first started brewing professionally in 2005. And that passion reflects in every single beer that he brews. Don’t be shy, stop by for a tour while Rik is around, or keep an eye out for him at the bar as he tends to make sporadic appearances in order to evaluate customer’s satisfaction with his products. Keep an eye out for our ever changing seasonal selection, and stop by to discover your new favorite micro-brewed beverage.
